Azerbaijan's rice imports up by over 2%

From January through April 2021, Azerbaijan imported 20,860 tons of rice for $14.9 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period last year, the monetary value of the imports decreased by $770,000, or 5.4%, while the volume dwindled by 2.02%, or 431.7 metric tons.

Rice imports amounted to 0.42% of Azerbaijan’s total imports in the reporting period.
