Azerbaijan's profit from sugar export drops by 23%

In January-September of this year, Azerbaijan imported sugar and confectionery made from sugar worth $171.083 million (+14.7%), Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, the value of Azerbaijan's sugar and sugar confectionery exports was $20.39 million, which is 23.2% less than a year ago.
During nine months, the cost of sugar import was 1.66% of the total import, and the income from sugar export was 0.07% of the total export.
