Azerbaijan's agricultural products to be sold in Qatar

A delegation of Azerbaijan's Agro Procurement and Supply Open Joint Stock Company is on a working visit to Qatar, Report informs referring to the company.

The delegation, with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Qatar, met with the Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani and the Al Meera Group CEO Yousef Ali Al Obaidan. The Azerbaijani Ambassador to Qatar, Rashad Ismayilov also attended the meeting.

The parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector, the exports of agricultural products, as well as Azerbaijan’s export potential.

It was particularly noted that Al Meera Group is interested in selling Azerbaijani goods in its stores in Qatar and Oman, and negotiations on the matter are ongoing.
