Azerbaijan posts increase in tomato exports

Azerbaijan exported over 19,112 tons of tomatoes worth $24.715 million in the first two months of 2020, Report informs citing the country's State Customs Committee.

According to the committee, compared to the same period of 2019, the tomato exports increased by 3,843 tons (25.17 percent) in terms of weight and by just over $6.9 million (38.7 percent) in terms of monetary value.

Tomatoes constituted 0.76 percent of Azerbaijan's total exports in the first two months of 2020.
