Azerbaijan cuts rice imports

Azerbaijan imported 7,859 tons of rice worth over $4.78 million from January through February 2020, Report informs citing the country's State Customs Committee.
According to the committee, compared to the same period of 2019, the rice imports decreased by 1,700 tons (17.79 percent) in terms of weight and by $3 million (38.73 percent) in terms of monetary value.
Rice constituted 0.27 percent of Azerbaijan's total imports in the first two months of 2020.
