Azerbaijan almost doubles wheat imports

From January through February 2023, Azerbaijan imported 268,114 tons of wheat for $81.987 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period in 2022, this is 117,517 tons (1.8 times) more in quantitative terms, and $30.034 million (57.8%) more in value.

In February 2023, the average price for one ton of wheat imported into the country was 543.58 manats ($319.88).
