Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is expected to visit Russia on May 8-9, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Dauren Abaev told TASS, Report informs.
“Our presidents meet quite regularly. After Vladimir Putin visited Kazakhstan in October, our presidents have already met twice - at the EAEU and CIS summits in St. Petersburg and in February in Kazan at the Future Games. A visit of our president to Moscow is planned for May 8–9," the diplomat said
Speaking about the alleged contacts between Astana and Kyiv in the defense sector, Abaev said: “We need to treat them like rumors, fakes, unverified information.”
