Scotland votes to remain part of the United Kingdom

Baku. 19 September. REPORT.AZ/ Vote counting at polling stations in Scotland completed.

Report informs referring to Euronews, according to official data, the majority of Scots, namely, 55.3% were in favor of preserving the unity of the United Kingdom. 44.7% of citizens who came to the polls voted for independence of Scotland.

Turnout in the referendum was 84.5%.
