WizzAir commented on possibility of resumption of flights to Baku

Baku. 4 May. REPORT.AZ/ Hungarian-Polish low-cost airline company WizzAir ready to consider new proposals for airport duties and charges for the resumption of flights to Baku.

Report was told in WizzAir, in April, the Azerbaijani government has declared its intention to present new proposals on the duties and levies.

While we have deployed our 2015 capacity on other routes, the airline will study any new proposals

Should airport costs allow for a reintroduction of low fare flights to Azerbaijan, this will be announced when a decision has been made,said the airline.

In late April, Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev said that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev ordered to solve the problem in connection with the resumption of direct flights between the two capitals at a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Siyarto in Budapest.
