Germany can join Ukraine-Azerbaijan-Central Asia transport route

Baku. 23 February. REPORT.AZ/ Number of transportation orders via railway route to the direction of Central Asia passing through Ukraine, Georgia and Azerbaijan has increased.

At present, significant works are being carried out on attracting cargo from Germany.

Report was told at the 'Azerbaijan Railways' CJSC: 'These works will give result in near future.'

Notably, in the framework of North-South international transport corridor, significant works are being carried out on tariffs of the cargo, which will be transported to Russia, European countries as well as Central Asia and Caucasus regions passing through India and the Persian Gulf, Iran and Azerbaijan. New projects are being prepared for this corridor to become main international route.
