Baku. 11 October. REPORT.AZ/ 'AzRusTrans' CJSC established recently by Azerbaijan and Russia have began transportation of grain from Kazakhstan to Georgia via Azerbaijan.

Report informs, Chairman of the Board of 'AzRusTrans' Javid Guliyev said.

"The main goal of company is to increase its capacities. Of course, there are certain difficulties in the matter related to traditional transportation by sea, used by many suppliers, but we’ll take all the necessary measures to attract traders and customers from Russia, Iran, and Turkey. Negotiations with them are underway,” J. Guliyev stated.

He added that this was a long-term project "as Azerbaijan is only becoming a transit country, and previously could not take this position because of the lack of necessary infrastructure and routes."
