Agency: Water resources of many rivers in Azerbaijan are used by only 15%

The water resources of more than 8,000 rivers in Azerbaijan can be used only by 10-15%, since these rivers become shallow during the crop irrigation season, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Land Reclamation and Water Management OJSC Zakir Guliyev said at the Baku Water Week conference.

According to Report, he noted that 70% of the country's water resources come from neighboring countries.
