Baku. 3 March. REPORT.AZ/ A passenger train between Nakhchivan and Mashhad may be run.
Report was informed by the Consulate General of Iran in Nakhchivan.
According to the information, discussions on the matter have been held between Azerbaijani and Iranian railway departments.
As Consul General of Iran in Nakhchivan Mansour Airom said, "considering existing infrastructure, the train can be run after discussions in the near future."
It is expected that the train will follow the route of Nakhchivan-Julfa-Tabriz-Tehran-Mashhad.
