Azerbaijani wrestlers won 9 medals in "Yadigar Imam" tournament

Baku. 2 February. REPORT.AZ/ In the Iranian city of Mashhad tournament was held at the Junior Cup named after Yadigar Imam. Report informs, our athletes won 1 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals in the tournament.

One gold and one bronze medal won by our representatives Greco-Roman wrestling. The only gold in the treasury of Azerbaijani team brought Mahammadali Hasanli (58 kg) and Jeyhun Nasser (63 kg) in this kind of struggle was the third.

Representatives of wrestling won 3 silver and 4 bronze medals. Shahin Mukhtarov (42 kg), Aliabbas Rzazade (50 kg) and Ahliman Guliyev (76 kg) lost in the final. Fazil Hasanov (58 kg), Orhan Abbasov (63 kg), Ismail Abdullayev (69 kg) and Ravil Babazade (76 kg) were satisfied only in third place.
