Azerbaijani national judo team back to Baku

Baku. 2 June. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani sportsmen won 4 medals at last license tournament of World Masters, held in Guadalajara, Mexico returned to Baku.

Report informs, members of the national team welcomed by officials of Judo Federation of Azerbaijan, representatives of the sports community and group of journalists and fans at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, officials, and representatives of the sports community, a group of journalists and fans.

Notably, at World Masters tournament Orkhan Safarov (60 kg) and Elmar Gasimov (100 kg) won gold medals, Nijat Shikhalizade (66 kg) and Rustam Orujov (73 kg) won bronze medals. Azerbaijani national team ranked 1st in men's rankings and 2nd in the overall ranking.
