Sentence of female driver that hit 4 cars and killed a pedestrian in Baku, reduced

Baku. 13 May. REPORT.AZ/ The trial on the appeal against the decision on Samira Tofig Yusubova, who accused of committing serious traffic accident, has been completed at Baku Court of Appeal.

Report informs, the decision passed in the trial, presided by judge Gail Mammadov.

According to the judgment, the decision of Baku Court of Grave Crimes has been changed. Thus, sentence of S.Yusubova reduced 1 year, from 7 to 6.

She was accused of Article 263-1.3 (violation of traffic rules or rules of operation of vehicles by intoxicated driver or by a person not entitled to drive vehicles, causing the same actions death of victim through carelessness) of the Criminal Code.

On January 19 this year, in accordance with the decision of Baku Court of Grave Crimes, S.Yusubova has been sentenced to 7 years. Dissatisfied with the judgment, appeal has been made to Baku Court of Appeal.
