Heavy snow fell across northern region, connection is cut with more than 30 villages - PHOTO

Baku. 2 January. REPORT.AZ/ Heavy snow, starting yesterday evening cut connection of Guba's mountain villages with regional center.

Report informs, Guba-Gonagkand, Guba-Tulakaran-Budug-Zeyid, Guba-Susay direction and Guba-Ispik-Khinalig roads are completely closed.

Overall, connection with over 30 mountain villages cut off. Problems occurred in power supply of some mountain villages. 

Report was told by Yusif Abidov, Chairman of Guba Emergency Situations Commission that clearing technique has been sent to mentioned villages.

Report was told in the Guba Regional Hydrometeorology Institution of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, heaviest snow fell across Khaltan village. Height of snow is 70 cm.
