Court investigation on case of journalist Rauf Mirgadirov ends

Baku. 14 December. REPORT.AZ/ Today Baku Court of Grave Crimes held a hearing on the criminal case of journalist Rauf Mirgadirov.

Report informs, the process which has chaired by Judge Alisultan Osmanov held behind closed doors.

After the trial lawyer of R.Mirgadirov, Fuad Agayev told reporters that a court investigation on the case was completed.

According to him, the judge gave time the public prosecutor, but he asked for time to prepare. The judge accepted his request.

Next trial is scheduled for December 16.

R.Mirgadirov was arrested in April of last year in Turkey, then was deported to Azerbaijan. He is charged under Article 274 of the Criminal Code (high treason).
