Iran broadcasts new TV channel in Azerbaijan

Baku. 14 May. REPORT.AZ/ Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) held the meeting with the delegation led by deputy director of the Radio and Television Broadcasting Organization of Iran, Mohammad Akhgari. 

Report was told in the press service of the Ministry that, the first Deputy Minister of communications and high technology, Iltimas Mammadov noted that bilateral relations established in a high level between the two countries in all fields as well as in the field of ICT strengthen from year to year. Noting the next stage of development of cooperation between the parties including the development of radio and television broadcasting, I.Mammadov also stressed the measures and meetings carried out in this direction together with the Iranian Radio and Television Corporation and talked about the results of the meetings of the mutual agreement.

Stressing closer relations between the two countries, M.Akhgari said that the continuation of this cooperation is based on mutual interests. Speaking about the directions of activities of the Iranian Radio and Television Organization, broadcasted radio and television channel, the guest noted that on May 24, a new channel in Azerbaijani will kicks off and Iran intends to broadcast the channel via the first Azerbaijani telecommunications satellite "Azerspace-1".
