EU Ambassador: European parliamentarians are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijani counterparts

Baku. 1 October. REPORT.AZ/ I am glad that yesterday Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has decided to reconsider the issue of resuming the EURONEST.

Report informs, the Head of the EU mission in Azerbaijan Malena Mard told reporters.

According to her, members of the European Parliaments visited Baku have made it clear that they are interested in cooperation with their Azerbaijani counterparts.

Talking about the stage of preparation of a strategic agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan, M. Mard said the EU is interested in strengthening relations with Azerbaijan and expressed hope that soon it will be reflected at a legislative level.
