Second President of Austrian Parliament arrives in Azerbaijan

Baku. 12 June. REPORT.AZ/ The official opening ceremony of the first European games Baku-2015 will also be attended by the second president of the Austrian Parliament, Karlheinz Kopf.

On June 12 Karlheinz Kopf arrived in Azerbaijan.

European games in Baku are the first games in the history of the European continent, which will be exciting and technically advanced sporting event, including many kinds of sports. Games will be held from 12 to 28 June.

In total, Competitions on 20 sports will be held in Baku: 16 Olympic sports and four - non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from all over Europe will present their countries during 17 days of competition.

Baku was honored to hold the European Games European Olympic Committee (EOC) in December 2012.
