PACE rapporteur to visit Azerbaijan

Baku.2 April.REPORT.AZ/ PACE rapporteur Pedro Agramunt (Spain, EPP/CD) is to visit Baku from 8 to 9 April 2015. Report informs referring to the press service of PACE, during the visit, Mr. Agramunt is due to meet the Justice Minister, the Prosecutor General and the Chair of the Supreme Court and other judges in Azerbaijan. 

He will also meet the Working Group on Human Rights of the Milli Mejlis, and the head of Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration.

Pedro Agramunt will prepare a report on human right situation on Azerbaijan for PACE’s Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

P.Agramunt visited Baku in early March with his Polish counterpart Tadeusz Iwinski as co-rapporteur of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Azerbaijan.
