PACE autumn session kicks off in Strasbourg
Baku. 29 September. REPORT.AZ/ The regular session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has opened today in Strasbourg. Report informs, the main issues discussed during this session will be the situation in Ukraine, the issue of confrontation neo-fascism.

Also during the session, from September 29 to October 3, parliamentarians from member countries will discuss the results of the observation of the presidential elections in Turkey, the activities of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development over the past year, the activities of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, progress of monitoring procedures of the Assembly, the functioning of democratic institutions in Georgia and a number of other issues.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov will present the results of the work of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on Oсtober 2 at the session. Azerbaijan presides in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe from May to November of this year.
