Moldovan TV7 channel apologized to Azerbaijan

Baku. 15 June. REPORT.AZ/ Moldovan TV7 channel apologized to the Azerbaijani people.

Report was told by the head of press-service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Hikmat Hajiyev.

According to him, Armenian media reported visiting crew of the Moldovan TV7 channel to Armenian-occupied Azerbaijani territories and preparing reportage (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChOSWFbON9w&feature=youtu.be):

"The Embassy of Azerbaijan to Moldova took the issue under control, and turning to the leadership of TV7 channel, asked to investigate the fact. Sending a letter to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moldova, TV7 channel apologized for the situation.

Stating that the report did not come out on the air, TV leadership noted that it was temporarily placed in the hosting only for internal use. Point of view of the author o the conflict did not meet the editorial policy of the channel and therefore leadership categorically refused to show it."

Hikmat Hajiyev said that in the letter TV7 channel leadership also points out that the author of the report is Luba Maxim, who was fired from the TV channel, sent the link to organizers of her visit to the occupied territories - the Armenian lobby organization European Friends of Armenia, whose headquarters in Brussels: "TV7 channel leadership in a letter apologized for the unethical act of its former employee, and once again excused for it."

H.Hajiyev added that the organization European Friends of Armenia together with Armenian mass media tried to present the material that posted in Youtube as a report on the Moldovan TV channel. As a result of the intervention of the channel leadership, their lies were exposed. The video removed from Youtube."
