​Institute Director: Chatham House respects the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan

Baku. 21 August. REPORT.AZ/ Robin Niblett, the director of The UK Chatham House at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, which earlier invited Bako Saakyan, who claims to be a "president" of Nagorno-Karabakh on July this year, responded the questions of European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS), Report was informed by the European Azerbaijan Society.

Niblett stated in his response letter that Chatham House respects the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the House's hosting of a small private meeting no way means a support or the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. According to hin, Chatham House respects the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Niblett in his letter also stated that they are ready to welcome the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh in the future. In the end of the letter, the Institute director once again stressed that as always Chatham House would continue providing all the conditions for Azerbaijan government officials to participate in a variety of large-scale events and negotiations.
