Garibashvili: Georgia appreciates relations with Azerbaijan

Baku. 26 December. REPORT.AZ/ Georgia appreciates relations with Azerbaijan. Report informs referring to the newspaper Tbilisi week the Prime-minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said that today at a press briefing.

We value this country, since Azerbaijan is our strategic partner and we carry out together a lot of important and significant projects, he said.

Also, according to I. Garibashvili, the Georgian government and SOCAR intend to emphasize the beginning of the project Shah Deniz-2 in Georgia.This issue was discussed yesterday at a meeting of I.Garibashvili with president of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev.

This is a very significant project, which is worth 45 bln dollars, and works at 2 bln dollars will be implemented in Georgia, said the Prime-minister.
