Azerbaijani FM: WTO members have their own requirements, in many cases Azerbaijan not satisfied with them

Baku. 25 December. REPORT.AZ/ Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov commented on the possibility of joining the World Trade Organization (WTO).

As Foreign Minister said in an interview with a number of Azerbaijani media, including "Report" agency, at the end of 2015, WTO members have their own requirements, and in many casesAzerbaijan not satisfied with them.

"Our desire is that Azerbaijan was presented acceptable conditions.The time is not a matter for us, it is important that the conditions did not cause damage to our country, the non-oil sector", Mammadyarov said.

E. Mammadyarov also stressed that the goal of the country is to diversify the economy first, then finish the question of membership in the WTO.
