Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis demands EP end double standards policy against Azerbaijan

The International Organization "Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis" issued a statement addressing the European Parliament, Report informs.

The statement reads:

“Azerbaijan has always cooperated and continues to successfully cooperate with international organizations, supporting the discussions and decision-making process on issues that are in line with its national interests and mutual interests with Europe. But under the influence of outside parties, some organizations have been displaying a non-objective and biased attitude towards Azerbaijan.

“The resolution adopted by the European Parliament on March 13, 2024, on "Closer ties between the EU and Armenia and the need for a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia" is not only unfounded and biased, but it also serves as a clear example of a recurrent double-standards approach against Azerbaijan.

“The resolution contains ludicrous and offensive statements that go beyond political ethics, contradicting the essence of international relations, as well as statements that are in clear violation of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty, revealing the true nature of the MEPs who proposed the resolution.

“The International Organization "Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis" considers the prejudiced resolution adopted by the European Parliament reflecting disrespect to the principles of international law and the biased accusations against Azerbaijan, which are reflected on a regular basis and is an integral part of the campaigns carried out against our country. The EAPCA declares that behind these campaigns, are standing certain groups that are under the influence of the Armenian lobby and anti-Azerbaijani forces that are jealous of the development of our country.

“The International Organization "Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis" strongly condemns the European Parliament's biased resolution against Azerbaijan and strongly demands the end of the double standards policy against Azerbaijan.”
