Delegation of IPA CIS laid flowers at the memorial dedicated to the victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945

Baku. 17 March. REPORT.AZ/ Members of the delegation of the Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS countries laid flowers at the memorial in memory of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in Baku. Report informs, during their visit to Azerbaijan in the framework of the Memory Marathon campaign, the delegation of the IPA CIS is also to meet with veterans and representatives of youth organizations.

At the same time, it is scheduled to meet with the leadership of Milli Majlis.

During the Memory Marathon campaign dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the delegation will visit the capitals of CIS countries, the largest memorials in honor of the heroes of the Second World War. The campaign, which will be attended by parliamentarians of the CIS countries, is held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Federation Council, the Chairman of the Council of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Valentina Matviyenko.
