​Azeri Ambassador to Ukraine takes part in the Peace March in Kiev

Baku. 19 January. REPORT.AZ/ The Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli took part in the Peace March, held on January 18 in Kiev. Report informs citing the Ukrainian media, this peace march was dedicated to the memory of civilians killed by gunfire on the bus under Volnovaha.

Speaking at the march, Mr. Madatli said he supported the initiative of the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko to hold this event, since Azerbaijan had to face the phenomenon of separatism. "We, Azerbaijanis, understand better than everyone what aggressive separatism and violation of territorial integrity are".

Ambassador wished to Ukrainians to restore peace in their country: "I wish peace to Ukrainians not to tolerate separatism and occupation, but to liberate their territories and to stop separatism".

Procession of Peace march passed from the park of Taras Shevchenko to Maidan Nezalejnosti (Independence Square), where the afternoon prayer was also held, candles lit and flowers laid in memory of the victims.
