Azerbaijani President receives British Minister for European Affairs

Baku. 5 November. REPORT.AZ/ President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received British Minister for European Affairs David Lidington on November 5. Report informs, British Minister for European Affairs David Lidington stressed with satisfaction that he witnessed great development in Baku.

It was noted during the meeting that bilateral relations in various fields between Azerbaijan and Great Britain is in the highest level. Also, emphasizing the energy sector as a priority in economic cooperation, it was noted that Azerbaijan is the main partner of the British company BP. They exchanged views on the perspectives for significant infrastructural projects.

The sides also discussed issues on the resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and mutual interests.
