Azerbaijani FM: Unresolved conflicts create conditions for extremist groups

Baku. 26 April. REPORT.AZ/ "Unresolved conflicts create conditions for extremist groups. We should try to solve the conflict. It is not too late, we can achieve our goals."

Report informs, Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov said at the plenary session on the theme "Partnership and Platform against violent extremism" organized in the framework of the VII Global Forum of UN Alliance of Civilizations in Baku.

"When building the foundation will not be sustainable, it can not be long-lasting. We must work together to combat violent extremism and work together for common initiatives. Sustainable development must become a priority for us. As a result of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's efforts, the country has achieved significant development, we struggle with violent extremism and terror", Foreign Minister said.
