Baku. 12 July. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will visit Kazakhstan, where he will participate in the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Caspian countries.
Report was told by the head of press-service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Hikmet Hajiyev.
The meeting of foreign ministers of five Caspian littoral states will be held on July 13-14 in Astana.
The agenda of the forthcoming Council includes approval of the draft Convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea and the five-sided issues of cooperation in various fields, including economy, transportation, safety and environment.
Foreign ministers are expected to raise current regional and international issues. The meeting will also discuss preparation for the fifth Caspian summit at the level of Heads of State which will be held in 2016 in Kazakhstan.
