Azerbaijani Deputy PM visits Iran

Baku. 24 November. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov starts an official visit to Iran today, REPORT informs.

Hassanov's 3-day visit to Tehran is upon official invitation of Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei. During the visit further promotion of Tehran-Baku ties to be discussed.

Earlier this month, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev in a joint statement underscored the necessity for activating the two countries' Joint Economic Commission. In the joint statement issued at the end of President Rouhani's visit to Baku, the two countries called for the expansion of all-out cooperation, and underlined the need for activation of joint economic commission to help further boost economic and trade cooperation.
