​Azerbaijan and Ukraine to hold consultations on consular and legal issues

Baku. 22 January. REPORT.AZ/ Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Nadir Huseynov. Report was informed by the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan, that during the meeting, Ambassador Mr. Mischenko expressed appreciation to the Azerbaijani side for its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the international arena.

The role of Ukrainians with Azerbaijani origins who participated in the anti-terrorist operation in the east in order to defend Ukraine, was stressed too.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of further development of Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations in the consular sphere and stressed the absence of significant problems for the citizens of the two countries in the context of the protection of their rights and legal interests during travel and stay in Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

The agreement to conduct next round of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani consultations on consular and legal issues in 2015 in Baku was reached.
