According to him, representatives of Azerbaijani parliament are active in the international events:" I would like our speech to be in the Azerbaijani language there. Our deputies can speak in foreign languages. However, there are some states that they perform in their official languages, why don't we do it? Why not promote the Azerbaijani language in these events? I think this issue will not require a big expense and we should raise this issues in the next year's state budget. We can popularize our language enough by taking translators there." Speaker Ogtay Asadov responded to a proposal put forward by the deputy in the issue of translators: "The organizations themselves provide the issues on translators. There are pre-approved languages in many organizations. I have no objections, if there is any organization that can provide this proposal."
