Stadiums for World Cup 2018 in Russia revealed

Baku. 8 October. REPORT.AZ/ Name of stadiums considered for WorldCup2018 approved. 

Report informs, FIFA and Russia-2018 Organizing Committee agreed official names of arenas.

Name of eight stadiums coincides with their cities; four of them related with local cultural and football aspects.

Name of stadiums for World Cup and Confederations Cup as below, to be held a year earlier.

"YekaterinburgArena" - Yekaterinburg

"Fisht"stadium- Sochi

"Kazan Arena" - Kazan

Kaliningrad stadium- Kaliningrad

"Lujniki" stadium, "Spartak" stadium–both in Moscow

"Mordovia-Arena" - Saransk

NizhnyNovgorod stadium- NizhnyNovgorod

"Rostov-on-DonArena" - Rostov-on-Don

"Samara Arena" - Samara

SaintPetersburgstadium-SaintPetersburg

"Volgograd Arena" – Volgograd

WorldCupwill be held on June 14 – July 15, 2018.
