Rovnag Abdullayev: 'Representatives of regions will gradually increase in Premier League'

Baku. 11 March. REPORT.AZ/ 'Now companies are being established in the regions, too and representatives of regions will gradually increase in Premier League'.

Report informs, re-elected President of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) Rovnag Abdullayev said at the briefing held after Report-Election Conference.

'For several years, we are implementing projects to support development of regional football in Azerbaijan Trainings and elite tournaments are held in the regions. As a result, new generation is growing up. But Premier League clubs from regions are related with location of sponsors. Now companies are being established in the regions, too and representatives of regions will gradually increase in Premier League', R.Abdullayev said.

He noted very most important decisions adopted in today's meeting of the AFFA Executive Committee: 'AFFA has approved composition of Media Committee. This committee will be the committee to support the sports media - great programs will be implemented, grants will given to the press. We will try to promote the development of sports media'.

AFFA president also spoke about the club's financial problems.
