Player of Gabala FC rival: Our aim is to play at group stage

Report informs, Jasmin Handanović, goalkeeper of the rival of Gabala FC at the Europa League play-off round, Slovenian Maribor FC, said.

The 38-year-old goalkeeper spoke about the match with Gabala FC: 'Gabala FC is financially well-organized Azerbaijani team. We have two matches at the national championship. Today we will have a derby match against Ljubljana. After these matches, we will think about the Europa League. We played with Aberdeen and should train for the upcoming matches'.

Notably, the first match between Gabala and Maribor FCs will be held in Baku on August 18, return match in Slovenia a week later. The winner will participate in the Europa League group stage.
