Norway Football Federation calls meeting to discuss defeat against Azerbaijan

Baku. 13 October. REPORT.AZ/ Executive Committee of Norway Football Federation (NFF) will evaluate national team’s performance in World Cup qualifiers.

Report informs referring to the NFF official web site, President of the Norway Football Federation Terje Svendsen said.

This decision was taken after 0:1 defeat against Azerbaijan national team in World Cup qualification match on October 8, he noted. But we had to wait until San Marino game to finish. 4:1 win against San Marino wasn’t enough to change this decision.

According to T.Svendsen, they gather to discuss national teams’ performance which apparently fell short of NFF’s ambitions. “We have to take advantage of time although final view will be formulated after match against Check Republic. Executive Committee understands concerns of mass media and supporters. Nevertheless, we conduct accurate evaluation”.

Notably, Norway national team holds forth place with 3 points after three games in Group C.
