Manchester United complete £36m Anthony Martial transfer

Baku. 2 September. REPORT.AZ/ Anthony Martial has completed his £36million move to Manchester United from Monaco in a deal which could rise to £58m.

The 19-year-old French Under 21 international signed a four-year deal with the club on transfer deadline day, Report informs referring to Daily Mail.

He flew to Manchester on Monday to complete his medical and sign the relevant paperwork before United announced the deal on Tuesday.

Manchester United also have the option to extend the deal for a further year and Martial will wear the No 9 shirt.

He told Manchester United\s official website: 'I am so excited to be joining Manchester United. I have enjoyed my time at AS Monaco and I would like to thank them and the fans for everything they have done for me.

'I have always wanted to play in the Premier League and to join the biggest club in the world is what every young footballer dreams of. I am looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and working with Louis van Gaal who has achieved so much in his career.'
