Baku. 27 July. REPORT.AZ/ Disciplinary committee of the International Football Federation (FIFA) did not take into consideration the statement of the Football Federation of Uruguay requesting leniency of striker of Spanish "Barcelona" Luis Suarez and upheld the original decision, Report informs citing the TASS.

Suarez was banned for nine matches of the national team after being bitten by Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during a match of the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.He also was suspended from any football activity for four months.Later the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has allowed him to train and take part in any friendly matches.

Thus, football player will miss four matches of the qualifying tournament of World Cup 2018.

Uruguay squad to play no-hitter against teams from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.

In the summer of 2014 Suarez signed a five-year contract with "Barcelona". A transfer from the English "Liverpool" cost 81 million euros.

Last season, the Uruguayan won championship with "Barcelona" and Spanish Cup and the Champions League.
