European Cup semi-final draw kicks off today

Baku. 24 April. REPORT.AZ/ Today the draw ceremony of the Champions League and Europa League semi-final stages of football will be held. Report informs that the two ceremonies to be held in UEFA headquarters in Nyon, will start at 16:00 p.m. Baku time. "Real Madrid" (Spain), "Bavaria" (Germany), "Barcelona" (Spain) and "Juventus" (Italy) reached the Champions League semi-final. "Napoli" (Italy), "Dnepr" (Ukraine), "Fiorentina" (Italy) and "Seville" (Spain) completed this task in the Champions League.

Semi-pairs will be defined with "blind draw", without the initial partition. At this stage, teams from the same country can face each other. The first match of the team which name will be sounded firstly, will play at home. Also, the nominal host of the final will be determined.

The Champions League semi-final matches will take place on May 5-6 and May 12-13. On June 6, the final match will be held in the German's capital, at "Olimpiastadion". The first games in the Champions League will take place on May 7, response matches on May 14 and the deciding game will be held at the National Stadium in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, on May 27.
