Overdue loans in 'Bank Melli Iran-Bakı' reached 40%

Baku. 6 August. REPORT.AZ/ Assets of Baku branch of 'Bank Melli Iran-Bakı' since the beginning of the year increased by 11% on July 1, 2015 and made 84.8 mln. AZN. Of these, 27% accounted for by cash and correspondent accounts of other banks.

Report informs referring to the bank, the bank's loan portfolio as of July 1 of the current year amounted to 13.1 million manats, of which 40.4%, or 5,279,000 manats accounted for overdue loans. At the end of the first quarter of this year, this figure was respectively, 48.02% or 5,243,000 manats. Loans issued to individuals for personal, family and other demands made 7.5 mln. AZN or 57.7% of total loans.

According to the report, as of July 1 of this year, the authorized capital of 'Bank Melli İran-Bakı' amounted to 51.4 million manats, total capital 51.6 million manats.
