Silk Way Bank completes first half of the year with profit

Baku. 31 July. REPORT.AZ/ Silk Way Bank completed the first half of this year with a profit of 2.0 mln. manats. During the reporting period, net interest income amounted to 5.6 mln. manats, non-interest income 1.3 mln. manats. The volume allocated for the creation of a special reserve for potential losses on assets of funds amounted to more than 4.8 mln. manats.

Report informs referring to the bank, during the reporting period the bank's earnings amounted to 17.7 million manats, of which 11.4 million manats accounted for interest income. Total expenditures amounted to 10.9 million manats, 5.8 million manats accounted for interest expenses.

According to the report, as of July 1 of this year, the bank's assets amounted to 293.3 million manats, the loan portfolio 239.4 million manats, deposit portfolio 101.8 million manats, the authorized capital 99.2 million manats.

55.1%, or 131.9 million manats of loan portfolio and 81.7% of the deposit portfolio is placed in foreign currency.
