Rufat Aslanli: People are most concerned about the insurance sector

Baku. 23 June. REPORT.AZ/ Over the last 5 years, Azerbaijan’s insurance sector has achieved significant quantitative results, the role of this sector in GDP increased. Report informs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Financial Markets Control Chamber Rufat Aslanli said today at international conference AIIF-2016.

R.Aslanli noted that because of the processes occurring in the economy, demand for insurance services has reduced. According to him, of all the areas under the control of the Chamber, the people are most concerned on issues related to the insurance sector.

"As of today, has formed a quite effective legal framework to ensure healthy competition. There is still much to be done, but in general, conditions in order to achieve real results are available", he said.
