Baku. 12 August. REPORT.AZ/ World Gold Council compiled a list of countries with the largest gold reserves.Report informs referring to the company's website,  in the first half of the year USA ranked first with the volume of gold reserves at 8 133.5 tons.

The top ten also included Germany (3 378.2 tons), the International Monetary Fund (2 814.0 tons), Italy (2 451.8 tons), France (2 435.8 tons), Russia (1 498.7 tons ), Switzerland (1 040.0 tons), Japan (765.2 tons) and the Netherlands (612.5 tons).
