Payment for compulsory insurance of vehicles decreased by 20% in Azerbaijan

Baku. 2 September. REPORT.AZ/ Insurance companies-participants of Compulsory Insurance Bureau made insurance payments on " Compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners" on 1483 insurance claims totaling 1.9 million manats .

Report informs referring to the BOS, the number of insurance claims declined by 20.4%, the amount of insurance payments - by 19.8%. During the reporting month the average amount of insurance payments for damage to vehicle owners was 1213 manats.

Among insurance premiums 1 665.2 thousand manats fell on vehicles, 32,8 thousand manats - property 61 thousand manats - damage to health, 140 thousand manats - the death of the insured.

In August, the Compulsory Insurance Bureau has paid compensation of 34 263 thousand manats on 10 requirements.
