Number of bank customers increased in Azerbaijan

Baku. 12 June. REPORT.AZ/ The total number of customers of banks operating in Azerbaijan increased by 17,05% and reached 5 273,7 thousand people as of May 1, 2015.

Report was told in Central Bank 5 168,4 thousand or 98% of customers are individuals, 105,2 thousand or 2,0% -legal entities. In the reporting period the number of individuals grew by 17,1% and legal entities by 15,89%.

According to the report, the annual number of clients increased by 31,6% and reached 14 688,4 thousand as of May 1.  11 153.5 thousand customer accounts, or 75.9% have current account 3 115, 5 thousand, or 21.2% - credit accounts, 419.5 thousand or 2.9%- deposit accounts.

Current accounts increased by 32.4%, credit accounts by 28.3%, while deposit accounts by35.8%.
