Over 42 mln AZN compensation paid to depositors of three banks in Azerbaijan

Baku. 20 February. REPORT.AZ / To date, agent banks have paid insured depositors of Bank of Azerbaijan for a total of 21,529,000 AZN.

Report informs, a statement of Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) says.

According to ADIF, 621,000 AZN have been paid for insured deposits of Gencebank.

Investors of Texnikabank received compensation from the Fund in the amount of more than 20 million AZN.

Pursuant to the decision of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan dated January 18, 2016 the license of Bank of Azerbaijan was revoked.

According to the decision of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) dated January 24, 2016 the license of Gencebank was revoked.

Due to the decision of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan dated February 1, 2016 the license of Texnikabank was revoked.
